Frequently asked questions
Plain answers about what the product is and is not.
Can I buy it now?
No. This is pre-launch software and billing is a sandbox. Live payments are blocked until a payment processor approves the business and product. There is nothing to buy yet.
Is it approved by EA?
No. It is an independent product, not made, endorsed or approved by EA.
Does it break EA's rules?
The local desk (price research, paper trading, journaling) does not log in to EA or trade for you. The optional experimental browser bridge automates a browser, and EA prohibits autobuyers and automation. Using the bridge risks transfer-market bans or a permanent account ban.
Will it make me coins?
No. Nothing here generates coins or guarantees profit. Paper trading is a simulation, and real markets can be illiquid or move against you.
Does it need my EA password?
No. It never asks for or stores your EA password, backup codes or tokens. You sign in to EA yourself.
Where is my data stored?
Desk data (prices, paper portfolios, journal) is in a SQLite file on your own computer. A commerce server, if one is ever run, stores account email, a password hash, subscription and payment records and support tickets. See the draft privacy page.
How do you decide who is subscribed?
The server decides, from its own records. The app asks the server and is never trusted to assert its own status.
Are the prices final?
No. They are configurable examples with defaults of $19.99 per month and $49.99 per season.
Are there testimonials or user numbers?
No. The product is pre-launch, so there are no customer reviews and we do not publish any.
Is this financial advice?
No. It is research software. Decisions and risk are yours.
EA disclaimer. Snipe Club is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by Electronic Arts Inc. (EA). EA SPORTS FC, FC Ultimate Team and related names are trademarks of their owners.
Automation breaks EA's rules. EA's rules prohibit autobuyers, autosnipers and other automation of the Transfer Market, and prohibit coin farming. Using any automation against your EA account can lead to transfer-market bans, coin and item removal, or a permanent account ban. The optional, experimental third-party browser-worker bridge in this project automates a browser and would violate those rules. We do not recommend using it on an account you care about, and nothing here guarantees safety or profit. You alone are responsible for how you use the software.
